This drawing was inspired by a backcountry trip I took along the Verde River in Coconino National Forest AZ. I was hiking far away from any trails and the land I was on was also cattle grazing land. When I came across this fallen bull I was mesmerized by the aura and surroundings in front of me. I knew I had to capture it and incorporate it into my work somehow.

This original piece was featured in the “Line Addicts” group show curated by Hi-Fructose Magazine at Thinkspace Projects in LA. "Bull on the Verde River" was also published in Hi-Fructose issue #72.
